Living Motion, with its registered office in The Hague (Berkebroeklaan 90) is responsible for the processing of personal data as mentioned in this privacy statement.


Personal data we process

Living Motion processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you have provided it to us. Data which Living Motion may need from you, or is necessary with regard to the objectives as listed below, and that Living Motion in any case and at least processes include:

•             Company name and function

•             Address details (consisting of street name, house number and ZIP code)

•             Telephone number (mobile or fixed line)

•             E-mail address


When you enroll as a student or subscriber (“learner”) on our site or related courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address.

Email marketing: we may send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.


When you provide us with personal information to become a learner on our site, make a purchase, or participate in the course, you imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Does Living Motion also process special personal data?

Special personal data concerns sensitive data, for example about your health or a criminal record, ethnical data or data concerning race. Living Motion does not process special personal data.


Why we need data

As soon as you have entered into an agreement with Living Motion, we want to be of service to you in the best possible way. We will therefore use your data for the following objectives:


• To call or e-mail you if the performance of our services requires it.

• To inform you about changes in our services and products.

• In order to deliver products and services to you.

• If we are legally obliged thereto, like data we need for our tax declaration.

Living Motion will save your data no longer than strictly necessary and in order to put into practice the objectives for which your data was collected.

Living Motion does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it when absolutely necessary to perform our agreement with you or if it complies with a legal obligation. We enter into agreements with processing agents to ensure a similar level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Living Motion only uses technical and functional cookies. A cookie is a tiny text file that is saved on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit our websites for the first time. Thinkific

Our courses are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to sell our product/services to you.

Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:

If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.

We may use web analysis tools that are built into the Living Motion Academy website to measure and collect anonymous session information.

Naturally, you always have the possibility to view, correct or delete all personal data known to us.

Living Motion places great store to the security and protection of your personal data. Living Motion has installed fitting technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data and protect it against loss, change, abuse or any (other) form of wrongful processing. Each person, who has access to personal data at Living Motion and/or processes it, is obliged to non-disclosure of this data, in as far as applicable laws and legislation do not stipulate differently. In case Living Motion uses third parties, Living Motion will set up agreements in relation to the necessary security measures within the scope of the protection of personal data.
